About

Introducing Steph

Steph was born in Manchester, UK, to an English father and Vincentian mother and has a rich, diverse cultural heritage she extremely proud of. Growing up as a mixed-race child in a predominantly white area presented many challenges which have helped prepare her for very similar challenges faced within motorsport - often being the only woman or person of colour (or both) in a room.

Steph graduated from Newcastle University in 2022 with a BA (Hons) in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies. Alongside her studies, Steph began her presenting career in 2021 and has put her degree to use by presenting in both studied languages as well as English. She has a wealth of experience in dance and musical theatre, creating a strong, clear presence perfect for broadcasting.

Growing up in a family of Formula One fans, it was inevitable that Steph would fall in love with the sport. She created her YouTube channel All About SteF1 in July of 2020, creating videos about F1 and eventually other motorsport categories too.

Career thus far...

She would begin her presenting career with a debut on the BBC Chequered Flag podcast for BBC Radio 5 Live in August of 2021 and would appear again on the broadcaster multiple times that season. Steph went on to host Track TV at several Formula One races that same year, including the 2021 Brazilian Grand Prix in which she presented in Portuguese. Additionally  was a permanent fixture on the F1 Esports Pro Championship in 2021.

After the busy end to 2021, Steph has continued to work in several different motorsport categories including MXGP, BTCC and its support series. Moreover, she has worked for several organisations within motorsport including Motorsport UK and the FIA. She also enjoys working in esports, having worked on V10 R League, the Sim Racing World Cup and F1 Esports again.

Steph may be sharp when it comes to motorsport, but her love of sport does not end there. She has dabbled in the world of football thus far, working with Footballer's Lives in 2022 and 2023, and is looking to diversify into other sports in the coming months.

2023 is set to be Steph's biggest year yet, venturing into endurance racing as the new pit lane reporter for European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup. She will also pit lane report at the 24H of Le Mans centenary celebration.
